Our Story

In 2022, some folks at the United Pentecostal Church in Stroud realized their small town needed a welcoming space for coffee and community. Gathering Grounds Coffee was born—based on the words of Jesus in Matthew 18:20 "For where two or three are gathered together in My name, there am I in the midst of them."

While operating at the front of Stroud UPC's building on Main Street, Gathering Grounds is an independent business existing outside the church's non-profit status.
